| A Trip to Singapore |
 |
|
|
|
Welcome to this month’s newsletter. I hope you are enjoying the start of the holiday season. I’m writing to you today from Singapore. We’re in the middle of teaching our 3 day Academy. I was speaking at Success Resources SMART (Social Media and Real Transactions) Congress here in Singapore and Malaysia. I’m not sure if you’ve ever been to this part of the world, but if you haven’t then I highly recommend that you do. Singapore is beautiful and the people are so nice.
This trip was twice as good as most because Adam got to come with me. Typically if you’ve seen me speak somewhere I am usually by myself. Adam usually stays back in the office and keeps everything up and running for us. But because we were doing the 3 day training, he was able to come out here with me. Aside from the Congress we’ve had some time to check out the local area. Two of our students Sandy and Stephen took us out to an awesome dinner down on the bay here. After dinner we went up to this club called Altitude, which is on top of one of the tallest buildings in Singapore. It had an amazing view of the entire city and especially the brand new casino out here called the Marina Bay Sands. Have you heard of it?

It’s amazing. It was here last year when I was here, but it was still in construction. Everything was completed early in 2011. So this was my first time seeing everything done. I’ve never seen anything like it. It’s 3 buildings next to each other and what looks like a surfboard lying on top of it. I s one of the craziest looking buildings I’ve ever seen. Definitely a marvel of architecture.
Well, I’m off to Malaysia in a couple days and then I’m flying back home. I have to get back for the holidays and our upcoming eBay academy in Los Angeles, CA. If you haven’t registered, then I highly recommend you hurry up and grab your spot. Just go to www.InsiderOnlineSecrets.com/academy. Remember, there’s only 50 people at every event…and we absolutely cap it off there. So I hope to see you there..
Ok, enough of that. Let’s get into this month’s newsletter. I have got some fantastic information lined up for you which will show you that having your own highly profitable Ebay business is something that you should all aspire to achieve.
As well as being extremely profitable it is also a great deal of fun so with that in mind, let’s get started!

| eBay Seller of the Month |
This month’s eBay seller of the month is Francheska De Jesus. Francheska purchased my eBay Riches course and in just 30 days was able to achieve a great accomplishment. And yes, she is only 16!! Here is what she had to say
“Hi, My name is Francheska and I’m 16 years old. I purchased Chris Bowser’s Insider Online Secrets program and learned how to create my own eBay Business. I am proud to say that in just 30days I have generated over $3,000 in sales from selling things around my house that were just gathering dust. While my friends are working for minimum wage, at 16 I am on my way to being self sufficient. Thank you ”

| eBay Updates |
 |
|
As you know, eBay is constantly updating it’s site and constantly trying to stay ahead of the competition. And I have to say, that’s probably the reason that they are #1 in the industry. Well, one really cool update that they made recently really caught my eye. Ebay is now giving away 50 Free Listings per month. That means that you don’t need to pay a listing free for any item that you sell on eBay for the first 50 listings you list every single month. That means there is literally no excuse for you not listing on eBay this month. IT DOESN’T COST YOU ANYTHING TO GET STARTED! It seems that Ebay really have been listening to the needs of their customers and it is little things like this which will make a big difference to so many sellers, Well done Ebay!
I always recommend that when you log into your Ebay account, always look at the latest messages.

They are not always all from your customers, quite often they are from Ebay and they will be there to inform you of any latest developments and offers.

| The Weird & Wonderful World of eBay |
 |
|
As usual, there have been the usual weird and wonderful items on offer this month with many of them having a Halloween Theme. One such auction that took my eye was this Antique Prison Ball and Chain with a lock and key that still works. It received one bid and was sold for $99 which is not to bad a price considering.
It just goes to show that there is a market for just about anything on Ebay but you can’t help but thinking that the Halloween element of this item ensured that it was sold at this price. Next, we have something that I have seen popping up over the past couple of months and even though it is pretty disgusting I have just got to give it a mention. You can just imagine the fun and games that people will have over this, especially over the Thanksgiving and Christmas periods where many households will have guests staying over!

Yes, you read that description correctly, a Fake Crap Turd (sorry if you find it offensive) At only $2.99 plus shipping it is something that very definitely has the shock fact and it is something that will probably sell well throughout the year but especially around November and December. Now for something completely different. This Real African Lion Skull was sold for a very attractive sum of $525 with shipping included. There was no need for a fancy description as the picture said it all and it must be said that products like this always interest a lot of people and usually sell well.

The following item, for me, is what sums up the very best of Ebay. Your average man and woman would not be able to buy something like this from the usual sources but this giant Crocs shoe, which was used for advertising purposes was snapped up (no pun intended!!) for a very healthy $150. The buyer may use it for novelty purposes or perhaps they have a footwear related business in which they could use it, but one thing is for sure, it will certainly generate a fair amount of interest.

Finally for this month I just had to mention this ‘Thing in a jar’, it looks absolutely disgusting and can you imagine for one minute the reaction you would get from it if you place it on your office desk.

The ‘Thing in a jar’ received one bid and was sold for $14.00. Money well spent in my opinion and will surely give hours of fun to the buyer.
